Alexis & Steven were an amazing couple- and amazing models! I found Alexis through a Facebook page we are both apart of. Alexis is from GA- like me! When we first met, she came up to me, giving me a big hug and she was full of smiles! It was great to talk about the south and old stomping grounds of ours. I could really tell she was a GA girl when I asked her if they would like to sit on top of a fallen tree because she immediately agreed. Alexis & Steven were one of the kindest couples I have ever encountered. My short time with them inspired me, and made me want to continue this crazy job called, "photography."
Thank you so much, Alexis & Steven! I really had a wonderful time with you guys!
P.S- You can see some of Alexis's awesome wedding videography work here!

The afternoon was way hotter than either of us expected, and we didn't know we were shooting in the sketchy part of Enumclaw (maybe alleyways weren't the best idea). But we had a great time, and I am thrilled with the results.
Thank you so much, Anna!
Matt and Ashley met at Kroger. She was in the pharmacy, Matt at the cash register. Ashley never gave him a second glance, mainly because he was still in high school. But Matt gave her lots of glances. He had a tendency of flirting with her when he saw her. Ashley left Kroger for a little while, and moved onto the hospital. After a couple of years, and Matt transferring into the Kroger Pharmacy, their paths crossed again. Ashley rejoined the Kroger pharmacy, and their story started to unfold. They had been dating a few months before the 'M' word started popping up. Ashley came over one day to talk about rings and see my mom's collection. My mom still had my great grandmothers ring. Ashley really liked it. Not long after, it was sitting on her ring finger and we were planning a wedding. Within a month of their engagement, Ashley attached his name to hers.
I love you Matt & Ashley! Thanks for letting my capture your love on camera!

Sarah is not only destined to be America's next top model, she's also my friend. We met in church, and then grew up together. When I moved to WA state, she and her family moved out here too. She has always been a deep thinker type of person. She's always ready to lend an ear to my ramblings. When I started getting into photography, she was one of my main models. Me oh my how we've both grown. We spent the other evening together snapping photos like old times. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Sarah, you are loved.
This summer is a whirlwind of projects, growing and learning. Between starting up two business, starring in one film and directing another + two trips from family members, this month is already going by super fast.
The other night was the first time my family and our friends went swimming. It was the usual chaos, as we all tried to fight for the one raft and have standing contests. Afterwards we hopped in the back of the truck and drove around looking for film locations. It was hot and sticky, and I seem to have a multitude of bites. We traipsed around the mountain side and took pictures of pretty flowers. Some of us were still wet from our swimming adventure. Lots of pictures were taken and lots of laughs shared. Stories were tossed around the wind as we sat in the back of the truck. To end the night right, we went to McDonalds for ice cream and fries- because that's the best combination.
So far, this summer is treating me right.
I'm in the process of re-branding, hence the new blog design and lack of posts.
But I am going to try and post more consistently, especially this summer.
